Shridhar University is a full-fledged, autonomous state university established under the Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University is spread over 60 acres area, located on Jaipur-Pilani State Highway no. 17. The nearest airports are Delhi (4 hours by road) and Jaipur (3 hours by road). The nearest Railway Stations are Chirawa (3 km) and Loharu (26 km).
The University has a pleasant and healthy campus with open and lush green patches (approx 70%). The University will soon have a comfortable fully furnished residential campus for its teaching and administrative staff members, separate hostels for the girls and boys, latest in-house shopping facilities, a hospital, auditorium, Health Research Development Centre, catering to all needs and dimensions of healthcare with a helipad, captive power facility, equestrian facility, food courts to suit the eating habits of all national and international students of the campus. The University intends to fully support the academic pursuits of its students and scholars by having well equipped laboratories and any other scientific facilities and a track for athletics of international standards along with facilities for all major outdoor sports etc. BITS-Pilani and CEERI (Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute) of CSIR in Pilani, remain the immediate neighbors of the University.
